The first bridesmaid dress has arrived! My friend (and BM) Danielle just got hers in today and I can’t wait to see how they all look together. It took a little searching and lots of browsing to find just what I was looking for. Since the wedding will be in July and the heat factor will be at maximum levels, I wanted a shorter dress in a lightweight, breathable fabric. The black color choice was easy, but the difficult task was finding a classic silhouette that wasn’t too frilly or trendy but also wasn’t too plain. Then I found (actually, Jennifer found) this Alfred Sung dress on Dessy. I love the bodice and pleating around the waist. It even has pockets! Cute and classy! I can’t wait to see how everyone looks all dressed and ready to go on the big day. Only a month to go!
