It’s officially the start of summer and I love summer time at the beach. Sure it’s hot and humid, with little chance of a good hair day, but it’s also such a relaxing time of year. The pace is slower, the mood is lighter and the skies could open up and let pouring rain escape at any moment then stop with bright sun shining the next. There’s something so calming about seeing a flash of lightning, hearing a roll of thunder, and watching the rain come down, especially over the water. I snapped this picture of the Choctawhatchee Bay a bit ago. Isn’t that a lovely shade of blue? I could just stop and stare all day.
