I don’t know if it has anything to do with binge-watching Mad Men or just the general aesthetic that has become more appealing to me lately, but I can’t seem to get enough of sweet, ladylike looks. From ruffles to bow and midi dresses, I find myself gravitating to these styles more than usual. I wouldn’t label them as frilly or stuffy, but clean and crisp with a gentle nod to retro styles. Something about wearing them helps me feel more put-together and confident. Living at the beach means I also love white year-round and these styles with generously tied knot in a contrast color are the perfect combination. Funny how adding a little black bow can do so much, right?
