Holiday Gift Guide-For the Hostess

While a bottle of wine and a bouquet of flowers get the job done, when it comes to selecting a host gift, a little thoughtfulness can go a long way. I’ve rounded up a chic selection of gifts hand-picked for the lady in your life dutifully taking on the role of hostess with the mostest. You might even find something you can’t resist!

Some gift guide items included below may have been gifted or part of sponsored content. All opinions are my own.

Gold Pineapple Tumblers

$35 $28, Urban Outfitters

I have a set of these and love how they can jazz up any bar cart or entertaining spread. They’re great for wine, mixed drinks or just a holiday spritzer. Plus, pineapples are a symbol of hospitality, making them a thoughtful and very appropriate gift for your host or hostess.

Mid-Century Bottle Stoppers

$, World Market

Sometimes the simplest gifts are the coolest. How fab are these minimal bottle stoppers? Pick your favorite or go ahead and spring for both and add it to a bag with your hostess’s wine of choice to take it up a notch. Perhaps some bubbly or festive holiday red?

The Honey Hutch Gift Set

Honey Hutch Gift Set

$74, Anthropologie

It’s always so exciting to see a local product flourish and this one is especially sweet. Amy Wright’s Honey Hutch line of local honey and gifts is made right here in Santa Rosa Beach and was not only named to this year’s list of Oprah’s Favorite Things, but also is now available online at Anthropologie! I love this boxed gift set for a hostess gift, but you might also want to sample the Honey Tubes or the Honey Flight for a full taste of the Honey Hutch.

Venus et Fleur Roses

$299 for 16 roses, Venus et Fleur

You might be a bit thrown off by the price tag at first glance, but the magical thing about these gorgeous roses is that they last a year! Yes, a full year. These are even more beautiful in person and when you make your selections while purchasing, you can select your rose colors from 25 different shades as well as the arrangement within the box, like  alternating rows of blush and peach. This gift will remind your hostess of your generosity and thoughtfulness all year long.

B&BW Winter Candle

$74, Amazon

This is hands down, the best smelling candle of the season. I have a few other favorite candles for different times of year, but there’s something about this combination of orange and fir needle essential oils with notes of clove that says Christmas time.  I could light this all day, every day and still not tire of the scent.

Sugarfina Sparkling Holiday Bento Box

Sugarfina Sparkling Bento Box

$65, Nordstrom

From champagne bubbles and bears to peach bellini treats and chocolate sparkles, this assortment of sweets is not only delicious, but extra festive for the holidays. I keep a box of the champagne bears in our bar cart for a fun touch and know how delicious they are. I dare you to try just one!

Mercury Dish

$59, Nordstrom

I don’t have this pretty little piece just yet, but it would make the most adorable decorative flower dish with its antiqued mercury glass and scalloped edges. The vintage feel adds extra glamour and would be even better delivered to the hostess with your choice of greenery or flowers arranged within.

Cheese Knives

$37, Nordstrom

You really can’t go wrong with a chic cheese knife set — mostly because this gift means cheese will be involved and I’m not one to turn down charcuterie.  Love the shiny gold Dinah for a bit of added holiday shine.

Philosophy Amazing Grace Set

$57 ($88 value), Nordstrom

If your hostess is ready to kick back and relax after a busy shindig, this set fits the bill. It smells divine and is a sweet token that says thanks beyond dinner and drinks.

30A Living Book

$50, 30A Living

Deliver a dose of local style to the coffee table of your hostess with this hardcover book by 30A gal Lynn Nesmith. The inspiration inside is enough to keep any hostess flipping through all year long.

Plush Throw

$39.99, Nordstrom (multiple colors!)

I have this throw in ivory and it is constantly in use for cozy snuggling on the couch, no matter the season. It’s super soft and the range of colors means you can find almost any shade to fit the style of your hostess. I have my eye on this peachy blush and a cloud grey!
