Shopping: Pantone's Color of the Year Rose Quartz - 30A Mama™

With one-half of Pantone’s Color of the Year for 2016 comes the sweetest of sweet shades, all wrapped up in a soft rosy pink. It took a little time for me to transition to become a fan of this shade a year or so ago, but since we’ve finally hit it off, I can’t seem to get enough of this color. It was late in the fall of 2014 when, on a romantic weekend getaway in New Orleans, my husband gifted me this beauty. I was deciding between hot pink and blush pink and am so happy with my final choice. Since then, I’ve integrated blouses, lipsticks and earrings of this shade into my wardrobe with ease and don’t appear to be turning back any time soon. Coco Chanel knew what she was doing when she adopted this ballet hue as part of her signature decades ago and it still stands the test of time.
