30A Mama Strong - Becoming Mom Strong

Let’s be honest. This whole situation has thrown everyone for a loop. It’s a wild time. I’ve been thinking today about being ‘ mom strong ‘ –– asking myself how I can do SOMETHING during all this to use my time and efforts to be positive and helpful.

If you’re feeling like I am navigating this new season at home, you can probably use guidance and encouragement now more than ever.

Awhile back, I found these amazing books on Amazon called Becoming Mom Strong. The set is really one of my favorite reads to recenter and help guide me as a woman and a mother in my walk with God.

30A Mama Strong - Becoming Mom Strong

The world is in a period of uncertainty, but I can’t help but be reminded of one thing we CAN count on. God is always here and He never fails. It’s so important that we moms are as strong as we can be for ourselves and our families. We are not perfect like Him, but as mothers, we have a lot of responsibility to uphold. We are the pillars for our family and the trusted leaders to guide and shape our children. We need a support system to help lift each other up as we find a path closer to God and navigate this season. We need to vent and seek advice. We need to draw from those who know more. We need to be inspired. We need each other.

Introducing 30A Mama Strong

With that said, I was led to the idea of joining forces with YOU. I’m excited to kick off a virtual small group to walk through the Becoming Mom Strong program over the next 6 weeks. No matter where you are or what phase you’re in, I’d love for you to join me. We can do a group video chat open for anyone. All you need to do is show up and participate.

This is my command – be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

Joshua 1: 9

The study follows the concept that moms are always in a learning and evolving state and always becoming. As we enter new phases, experience new emotions or need help with a new challenge, we need to know where to go for advice and how to find wisdom and confidence so that we can be our strongest selves. Yes, the Bible has everything we need to know, but combining that with other moms sharing heartfelt needs and knowledge first-hand is magic to me.

Prepare by doing the weekly reading and accompanying workbook pages. It’s simple but you can also just show up and join even if you haven’t had time to do the prep.

Once you have registered and received the meeting link, you can easily add this to your Google or iCal calendar for a reminder prior to the group chat.

If for some reason you cannot access the book to read or workbook to do the exercises, but still want to join the sessions, please let me know ASAP so I can share with you.
