Florida Boy Adventures Summer Adventure Camp

Adventure Camp with Florida Boy Adventures

Age 9-12, Week 1: June 3 + 4 (Monday + Tuesday), 1pm – 6pm

Details: This one is highest on my list because I’m married to the handsome captain at Florida Boy Adventures. : ) This summer he’s added an Adventure Camp designed to help young anglers get hooked on inshore fishing with hands-on learning and instruction from my hubby, FBA Capt. Hunter Ray. Campers will spend two afternoons (age 9-15) or one afternoon (age 5-8) with Capt. Hunter on the water enjoying an educational outdoor adventure. Anglers will work from the dock and on the boat to learn the fundamentals for beginners or brush up on existing skills. This camp is designed to provide an introductory education in inshore fishing while offering a fun and memorable experience to young anglers. Space is limited.

Ages 9-15, $250 per child per week

Ages 5-8, $100 per child per week

Whole Life Fitness Swim, Water & Beach Safety Camp

Each Swimmer Ages 5-12 years old  will receive one WLF Backpack the first day

1 Backpack, WLF Hat for sun protection,WLF towel,WLF Long Sleeved Rash guard,sunscreen
2 Bring a water bottle and a snack
3 Camps will be limited to 8 campers per week
4 Swim lessons and stroke development will be from 9-10:30
5 Swimmers will walk the Nature Trail 
6 Each Wednesday all swimmers will meet at The Orange Street Beach Access for a Beach Safety Day

Camp SkyWay

When: Week 1: June 10 – June 14 / Week 2: June 17- June 21 / Week 3: June 24 – June 28

Where: Camp Helen State Park

Details: For ages 5-12 with a “Counselor in Training” program for ages 13-15. Enjoy a full day of activities (8-9am for early dropoff and 4-5pm for extended care) from a pre-selected list that includes outdoor living skills, crafts and even a slimy science lab. Campers work together on a “give back” project and even play team tournaments to compete in a variety of camp challenges. $400 for full day or $200 for half day.

Where: E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, Freeport

Details: For ages 5-12. 9am – 2pm. Fun comes naturally at the Biophilia Center, with plenty of opportunities to learn and explore the nature of science! $45 per session.

Nature ROCKS!

When: First Session: July 15th-19th, Second Session: July 22-26th

Where: E.O. Wilson Biophilia Center, Freeport

Details: For rising 2nd – 8th graders. 9am – 2pm. This week-long immersive experience includes hands-on drumming and songwriting classes with renowned percussionist Zig Wajler of “Hands on With Zig,” wildlife-themed visual arts classes, interactive theater, and dynamic hands-on nature activities featuring live animal ambassadors!. $170 per session

Cultural Arts Alliance Creative Kids Camp

When:

Where: Camp sessions are scheduled Monday through Friday with a different age group served each week.

Primary sessions for ages 4-6 run June 10 – 14 and July 15 – 19 from 9am – 12pm.

Elementary sessions for ages 7-9 will run June 17 – 21 and July 22 – 26 from 9am – 2pm.

Middle school sessions for ages 10-13 will run June 24 – 28 and July 29 – August 2 from 9am – 2pm.

Creative Kids Camps take place in the CAA’s Bayou Arts Center located at 105 Hogtown Bayou Lane in Santa Rosa Beach. Lead instructor Sue Davis and Stacy Martin will lead students in various projects throughout each week, including two pottery hand-building projects where they will tour the CAA’s new pottery studio and learn the basics of glazing and firing pottery. Campers will learn how to work with a variety of mediums and use different techniques so that they go home at the end of the week with a diverse portfolio of work.
 
Early bird pricing of $175 – $200 per child is available now for each five-day session, and space is limited. Prices will increase to $200 – $250 per child one week in advance of each camp session, and daily drop-in registrations will be available as well. Multiple week discounts apply per child. 4-H Marine Camp

When: July 15-19, July 22-26 (June 24-28 available for ages 14-17)

Where: Camp Timpoochee 4-H Center Niceville

Details: For ages 8-13, learn about marine life, going fishing, and exploring the underwater world with a mask and snorkel.  $300 fee provides cabin lodging, 3 meals, snack and camp t-shirt. Senior Camp for ages 14-17 also available.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

Christ the King Episcopal Church

When: June 10-13

Where: Christ the King Episcopal Church

Details: Age 4-9. Grade. 9am – noon. $15 per child. Lift off for an intergalactic adventure and learn about God’s plan of salvation from creation to the cross!
