Currently residing in Hattiesburg, MS, Sarah Winford’s southern roots extend to Alabama where she grew up in Helena and studied Apparel Design at Auburn. It’s easy to see Sarah’s love for finding vintage pieces and making them work for today’s style. With some pieces giving a slight 90s era Designing Women vibe and others a bit 9 to 5, this collection was a lovely balance of retro silhouettes, patterns and fashion-forward glamour. Soft pastels and feather-weight patterns lent a soft touch to workwear pieces like a trench coat, blazer and pencil skirt. Even her cutout leather mermaid gown had just the right mix of soft and strong. Sarah’s feminine yet structured collection was appropriately named “Pretty Business”.
