The artistry and craftsmanship of designer Ella Rose’s pieces is evident in her South Walton Fashion Week collection. Graduating from LSU with a degree in Textiles, Apparel and Merchandising and Studio Art, this Louisiana girl puts her skills on display with hand-painted original prints and silk-screened patterns as well as natural textures and textiles. Inspired by “Painting the Roses Red” in Alice in Wonderland, her colorful pieces are made from cottons, organzas, burnout velvets and even recycled gator skin. Ella Rose’s collection is sweet enough for tea, but sassy enough for any queen bee.
