A rare one-on-one daughter date night, right in the heart of Alys Beach. We made a whole evening of it at Indaco Alys Beach and honestly, this is my favorite kind of night out: getting dressed up, trying something new, lingering over dinner and having nowhere else to be.
What we ordered:
Snapper Tartare — watermelon, cucumber, shallot, lemon, basil oil & puffed rice
The Indigo Spritz (for me) — Pasubio, elderflower, blueberry, lime & sparkling wine
Ravioli — smoked heirloom tomato, ricotta, basil, lemon, crispy shallots & parmesan
Triangoli — corn, ricotta, parmesan, crab, heirloom tomato, butter, basil, lemon & ricotta salata
Lobster Spaghetti — a whole lobster, tomato, Calabrian chili, garlic breadcrumbs, lemon & basil — and quite the presentation
Wood-Fired Peaches — honey, whipped mascarpone & ricotta, almond crumble
The food was beautiful, 100% worth a date night or girls night, but what I thought was the real treat was the uninterrupted dinner with my oldest. These one-on-one moments get harder to come by these days, so I’m learning to make a big deal out of them while I can. 💕
