The only thing better than a street style sidewalk of fabulous fashion is a red carpet full of glowing celebrities. Awards season means we get to “Ooh!” and “Ahh!” over fashion, beauty and plenty of A-list sparkle. This year’s Golden Globes included classic champagne-colored dresses with beads, sequins and satin (naturally), a return of black and white frocks in the form of embroidery, embellishment and stripes plus a heavy-handed amount of wine-colored gowns in shades of bordeaux, oxblood, crimson and brick. In the beauty department, brows were thick and lip colors ranged from rosy (Paula Patton and Emilia Clarke) to pink (Emma Watson and Amy Adams) to coral (Caitlyn Fitzgerald), wine (Jennifer Lawrence), red (Taylor Swift and Jenna Dewan-Tatum) and nude (Reese Witherspoon, Kate Mara and Naomi Watts). Perhaps because she looked beautifully sun kissed or maybe just because she’s a 30A girl, we were completely smitten with Reese Witherspoon’s makeup that focused on a coppery smokey eye. She looked amazing! Our favorite new face was the gorgeous Margot Robbie, who looked absolutely stunning in simple makeup.
