Forgive me for what might be an unpopular opinion, but I’m not one to get into the ugly Christmas sweater tradition. No offense to anyone who loves a tacky sweater party, but it’s just not me. I can totally support wearing a vintage find, it’s just the new ones made to look overly cheesy that I don’t quite get. With that said, I can definitely get on board with a COZY sweater and today is a perfect day for it. Our weather at the beach has gone from the 70s three days ago to 40 and will be back to 70 on Christmas day. Give me a chic white knit with cute details like fringe, ruffles or an oversize silhouette any day. There’s something about winter white that I can’t get enough of this season. It’s so easy to to create a festive look by adding red lipstick, a scarlet bag or crimson heels without giving up any style points. Here are a few that I love right now along with red accessories to inspire you. Be sure to scroll all the way down to enter today’s giveaway!

i think it’s a cute and funny tradition
I used to love the ugly sweater parties, but now it’s everywhere and not very special. Sounded like a hipster, but it’s just clothing. It was funny at first, but now it’s a little too much.
I like the “Ugly” sweater tradition because it showcases creativity and I get a few good laughs from it.
I think it is a fun tradition, especially when they are homemade sweaters!
Personally I love the tacky christmas tradition!!
I think it’s super cute 🙂
I think it’s a little overdone. It was funny the first few years because you had to go to a thrift store and buy a sweater that wasn’t meant to be tacky, but totally was. Now companies MAKE the ugly sweaters and it takes a little fun out of it, in my opinion 🙂
