Today I’m giving you an up close look at one of Grand Boulevard‘s newest stores, Kinnucan’s Specialty Outfitters.

If you’ve visited the 30A area in the last couple years, you might have noticed all the fresh developments and store openings that are a first for our area. When my family moved here in high school, most of the shopping options that are here now were nothing more than an uncleared lot waiting for their moments to rise and shine. We’ve come a long way since then! Grand Boulevard at Sandestin is one of those places that continues to add even more fabulous shopping options to its already-impressive repertoire. I can still remember seeing the first “coming soon” sign for Grand Boulevard and feeling the anticipation for its opening day. From its movie theater and upscale restaurant offerings to its collection of shopping and entertainment, we’ve been treated to amazing brands in our little beach town. (No more driving all the way into “town” to Destin or Panama City for a movie date like we did when I was 17!)
I first got to know Kinnucan’s (pronounced like canoe + cans) during my high school years when we lived in Auburn, where the original store is located. If you’re not familiar, it’s an outdoor lifestyle store carrying apparel, shoes, accessories and plenty of gear for the whole family. In addition to well-known brands, Kinnucan’s actually carries its own line of stylish women’s wear, Charlie O, which is both laid-back and trendy. I shopped around the Grand Boulevard store to see what’s new and shop for a chic summer outfit. Y’all know I love a good maxi and when I saw this pretty blue-green shade I couldn’t resist it.
