Wine festival season has officially started in and around 30A, and we’ve gathered a handful of chic essentials that will help you stay cool and fabulous while you sip away.
One of our favorite things about the spring is all the outdoor events that take place around 30A. This weekend, 30A Street Style will be hitting the scene at one of Sandestin’s wine festivals, the South Walton Beaches Wine and Food Festival at Grand Boulevard, and we wanted to share some tips on festival style.
Nothing is more important when you will be walking or standing a lot than a comfortable pair of shoes. For the casual, laid back gals, a pair of flat sandals is the perfect choice paired with denim shorts, a lace top, and, of course, a denim vest! But if you are going for a more stylish look, a pair of wedges is the go-to choice to keep your feet comfy. Try a bold print maxi dress, great for disguising any unfortunate wine spills, with a pair of large frame sunglasses or a straw hat to help shield you from the shiny Florida sunshine.
Think less is more when you accessorize; you want to stay comfortable and have fun. Leave the big tote bag at home and opt for a small, cross body styled purse. You’ll want both arms free for the drinks and the food! Between all of the sipping and tasting, you don’t want to worry about your make-up, so choose a lip stain or lip tint type lipstick to avoid reapplying and a tinted beauty cream with SPF. A girl always needs to protect her skin with a smooth and natural glow!
