Women make the world go ‘round. When you really step back and look at what one woman can take on, it’s pretty astounding. This issue is near and dear to my heart as we have so many amazing women filling up every page. Our cover girl Sarah Davidson is on the verge of a career explosion as she releases her debut EP and balances a prime-time role on TNT’s unscripted series Private Lives of Nashville Wives. While chasing her dreams, juggling everyday responsibilities and relationship challenges, this girl still manages to be poised, warm and endlessly chic. If you recall, we first met Sarah back at SWFW and who knew, what exciting things would be falling in to place for this deserving singer/songwriter. Read all about it in our “Hello Darlin’” interview. Another woman you will most likely be hearing lots more from is Abbi Glines, writer of the chick-lit Fallen Too Far series set in Rosemary Beach. The books have developed such a strong fanbase that rumors of a movie or TV show are even buzzing for the New York Times best-selling author. If you need a romantic beach read this spring featuring a southern heroine Blaire, Abbi’s e-books are ones you’ll want read. Along with Sarah and Abbi, who are taking a turn in the spotlight, the most fascinating type of woman to me is the everyday mom. Inspired by websites like The Glow and Vogue’s recent “Bonjour, Brooklyn” feature, I wanted to take the opportunity with 30A Street Style to show what the pursuit of balance looks like in South Walton. I’m so proud of this look at working mothers, showing the sweet moments that make long hours and career stress all worth it. For other moms out there, stay-at-home or working away, I hope you’ll read through and see what these ladies say about their take on achieve a balanced, quality life – in style, no less. It’s an everyday challenge and adventure, but it’s beautiful nonetheless.
