I’m not usually a “red” type of girl, but when I saw this dress, I knew I had to have it. The texture is so fun and I love that it feels a little south-of-the-border with an elegant twist. Yes, it’s great for the holidays, but it’s also one of those pieces you can wear from season to season. I wore this to a meeting in Rosemary Beach. Not to go on a tangent, but people often assume that locals in our little beach town never dress in more than sandals and beach coverups. I like to think that the year-round crew has as much style as visiting celebs, chic wedding guests and vacationers who appreciate the finer things in life – and there are plenty of each! The amount of fundraisers, festivals, wine dinners and everyday engagements around here means we have a fair share of events and meetings to fill the calendar. Not that those things make anyone more important or more glamorous, it just means we have a lot of chances to wear clothes beyond just the usual beachwear and I love that about 30A. (Though don’t get me wrong, the swimsuit and flip flops are always just one outfit change away.)
