Our December weather has been unseasonably warm, even for the beach. We’ve had a streak of 70-80 degree weather with only a few days qualifying as cool or breezy. It’s been divine …sort of. Don’t get me wrong, I love not having to bundle up in eight layers or having to de-ice my windshield when heading out in the mornings, but something about Christmas prep and the last few days of 2015 calls for at least a little chill in the air, right? While I’m wishing away for a dip in the temps, I’m making the most of my winter wardrobe (or lack thereof) with cool dresses that work on days when the temp creeps up to spring/summer levels by lunch. Case in point, this beautiful chiffon Free People dress in a vibrant cobalt blue. It’s been awhile since I’ve worn this color and I forgot how much I love the happy effect it has. If you’re more of a muted color girl, it also comes in a rusty rose shade and black, both linked at the bottom of the post. And yes, this would look great with boots, but I’ll save that look for a few more weeks when it might actually feel like a different season. 🙂
