I was feeling extra girly and glam in New York during NYFW and couldn’t resist taking this garnet lace midi out for a spin. It was 85 degrees this day and while I saw plenty of fall fashion on display (think over-the-knee boots, leather pants and layers upon layers), this breezy number was the perfect choice for me. I really just wanted to twirl in it, if we’re being honest. I curled my hair with this curling wand and added a new matte lipstick, which stayed on, even through lunch at Jack’s Wife Freda. Matte lipsticks can easily be drying and leave your lips looking almost chapped, but this formula was a really nice matte texture with just enough moisture. I love the combination of a dark fall color with softer accessories, so blush tones invaded this look from eyes to toe. (Y’all know I can’t stop wearing these sunnies.)
