The 30A Songwriters Festival has arrived! It’s so exciting to have such a big festival take place in our neighborhood and the lineup of songwriters is unbelievable! Even USA Today is talking about it here. I was out at Bud & Alley’s last night for the BMI Kick-Off Party and the place was packed! Sid & Susie aka Susanna Hoffs and Matthew Sweet were AWESOME. (And yes, if you loved her with the Bangles, she’s still lookin’ good.) They played a ton of great songs and even a little Maggie May with Balder Saunders at the end. My battery was dying, but I got part of it on video. I’ll add that later. Today is rainy, but despite the weather I can’t wait for round 2 tonight! More pictures to come….
