One of my favorite things about living at the beach is watching the sun slowly and carefully melt into the water at the end of a long day. Each sunset varies just like the days and I think the daily dose is like a mini treasure. When Mom said she hadn’t seen a beach sunset lately, despite driving to and from the beach for work each day, I told her she had to stop for five minutes at least once and check it out. They’re just that good. Since yesterday and today have been so rainy and grey, the sunsets have been a little less than spectacular this weekend. In fact, the fog tonight made seeing much of anything a minor challenge. Last week, however, was a different story. I guess it just wouldn’t be fair to the rest of the world if we got to see views like this everyday. Here are a few from the last several days:

Believe it or not, these are all from camera phones. Mom even took my advice and snapped the pretty one in the middle. See Mom? It’s definitely worth taking the time to stop and see the sunset.
