This weekend was absolutely beautiful! There were only a few afternoon showers and the rest of the days were perfect beach days. This was my view from my chair near Eastern Lake today. Sunshine, clear water and best of all, almost no June grass!
I spent a little time at the beach in Seaside yesterday and watched the crowds roll in. I think it was one of the busiest weekends we’ve had so far. For lunch, I refueled at the always delicious Barefoot BBQ and checked out some of the new Airstream additions surrounding the picture-perfect post office.

I highly recommend the red velvet cupcake! There is also the classic Frost Bites trailer and the new Raw & Juicy anchoring the new ones. If those aren’t enough choices, Seaside also has the Taco Bar, the Pizza Bar or the Shrimp Shack across the street- all tasty! Once you’ve stuffed yourself, follow my lead and find a nice place on the beach to kick back and relax. My favorite part!
